Level 1 focuses on skin, covering flawless foundation across matte, satin, and dewy finishes, colour matching, correction, and skin preparation, taught by Insider Trainers over 3 days. Level 2 covers aesthetic techniques, including ombre lips, lashes, brows, soft sculpting, and contouring with a focus on balance and face shape, delivered through 1 day of Daniel Classes and 2 days with Insider Trainers. Level 3 emphasizes eye classics such as smokey techniques, pastels, statement eyes, and graphic liners, building control and versatility, with 6 days of Daniel Classes and 3 days with Insider Trainers. Level 4 is advanced, encompassing editorial, bridal, conceptual, and SFX makeup to prepare artists for high-pressure shoots and expectations, taught over 3 days with Daniel Classes and 2 days with Insider Trainers.

The Hair module of the Platinum Course spans 14 intensive class days, delivered by Daniel Bauer, senior Insider Hair Trainers, and a Visiting Expert. Level 1 focuses on hair prep, providing an essential understanding of heat styling tools and professional products. Level 2 covers hair classics, including all fundamental hairstyles such as buns, updos, waves, curls, and braids. Level 3 moves into advanced techniques, focusing on editorial and fashion looks, experimental shapes, and advanced braiding. The program includes 2 advanced days with Daniel, 11 days with Insider Hair Trainers, and 1 day with a Visiting Expert, giving students hands-on experience to develop both technical expertise and creative confidence for high-profile shoots and events.

Bollywood Session: In this module, visiting industry experts provide exclusive sessions on working in the entertainment industry and the expectations for new artists. Areas covered include collaborating with models and stylists, understanding the dynamics of Bollywood shoots, and gaining insights into professional standards on high-profile film and fashion sets. Students learn practical tips and insider knowledge to confidently navigate the industry and excel in competitive, real-world environments.

As part of the Platinum Course, students participate in 5 professional portfolio shoots with local and international models, specifically designed for Instagram. These shoots cover high fashion, bridal, editorial, and fantasy looks, with content captured for both Reels and photography. Clients make hiring decisions based on the strength of an artist’s Instagram work, which can mean the difference between earning ₹10,000 or ₹100,000 for a job. At DBA, we recognise that an artist’s earning potential rests on the quality of their Instagram shoot content. These shoots give students hands-on experience, helping them build a strong, professional portfolio that showcases versatility, creativity, and attracts high-value opportunities.

Artist Factory India (AFI), the parent company behind Daniel Bauer Academy works with students over 12 months to grow and develop their social media presence. The program teaches creating a content calendar, producing high-quality posts, Reels, and Stories, and telling a compelling visual story that showcases their skills in makeup and hair. Students learn how to drive engagement through analytics, posting strategies, hashtags, and collaborations, while building a cohesive, professional online profile. AFI also mentors on digital etiquette, brand collaborations, and using social media to attract freelance opportunities. By the end, students have the skills and strategy to maintain and grow a strong, career-boosting online presence.

Our 30 Industry Assisting Placements program, typically starting in the sixth month, offers students a rich tapestry of opportunities. Delving into makeup, hair, assisting artists or teams, leading teams, and actively participating in shoots, students gain invaluable hands-on experience. Previous students have worked on prestigious projects including IIFA, the Ambani-Merchant wedding in Jamnagar, London Fashion Week, Lakme Fashion Week, and movie shoots across India.
